i am confident that Executable: /usr/libexec/signpost_reporter is harmless from an older post i found but am now worried about this new process that i've never seen before. i wish i hadn't marked my last post as solved. again it is not in my Activity Monitor list so i can't quit it there. The v2 version licenses no longer enjoy upgrade discounts, please purchase a new one directly. i'm still seeing Executable: /usr/libexec/signpost_reporter, and there is a new process. Version 4.8.0 supports DNS over QUIC and DNS over HTTP/3. the Executable: /usr/libexec/syspolicyd is now gone. I couldn't find anything that matches that process. I wouldn't worry about it, unless you are having problems with your Mac. This process reports high network use activity, could be from running some network process like Speedtest. here's what i found:Įxecutable: /usr/libexec/signpost_reporter is this something i should be worried about? or is this normal? everything else in the etre check report seems good. when i check the activity monitor, the two processes that are causing this are no longer in the list. I am seeing high cpu usage maybe twice a month.
